Freeze Membership Request Form
Freeze Policy: As part of our commitment to customer service and offering a flexible membership plan to our members, Sigma Martial Arts & Fitness allows you, our dedicated members, to freeze your membership and hold your spot on our roster.
How many times can I freeze my membership? - You may freeze their membership once per calendar year.
How long can the freeze last? - The freeze can last as long as two months, except for members who are college/university students with valid student ID or .edu email address who can freeze their memberships up to three months, and members who are recovering from an injury or medical procedure who may be required to provide a doctor’s note upon request.
Can I request a longer freeze? - If you request more than the allowed amount of time to freeze your membership, we will only process the freeze to the maximum amount of time you are permitted to take.
How does payment work during a freeze? - Any partial month freeze will be prorated to the portion of the month where the membership is active.
My payment went through before the freeze. Can I have a refund? - Your payment window is extended by the duration of the freeze. For example, if you make a payment on January 1st and request a one-month freeze beginning January 2nd, your next payment will be March 1st.
I missed a month of classes. Can I request that a freeze be applied to time that ha passed? - Members cannot request retroactive freezes.
How far in advance should I request a freeze? - Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice on a freeze request so we can process in time.
