Membership Freeze Policy

Sigma Martial Arts & Fitness offers a membership freeze option to support flexibility while preserving your place on our roster.

Eligibility and Frequency

• One freeze is permitted per calendar year, per membership.

Freeze Duration

• Standard members may freeze their membership for up to two months.

• College or university students may freeze for up to three months with valid student identification or a .edu email address.

• Members recovering from an injury or medical procedure may be granted an extended freeze. Documentation may be requested.

Requests Beyond the Limit

• Requests exceeding the allowed duration will be applied only up to the maximum permitted timeframe.

Billing During a Freeze

• Partial-month freezes are prorated based on the active portion of the billing cycle.

• Payments made prior to a freeze are not refunded. Instead, the billing date is extended by the length of the freeze.

Timing Requirements

• Freeze requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance.

• Retroactive freeze requests are not permitted.

Cancellations

• Cancelling during a freeze period will still require a final payment and 30 day notice.
